Stoni Alexander – Rebel review

I was excited for Rebel’s story. And this was a pretty big book, so the story held my attention for awhile! 🙂 I enjoyed the chemistry between Rebel and Britain. They were explosive and meant for each other! I liked the banter between them and how they got peace with one another. They were both good at their respective jobs, and they helped one another at home. They also found out they worked well together. I was also invested in the serial killer out there. They had been hit close to home and the hunt was on! Really great book and I couldn’t put it down!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

THEY MAKE THE RULES. I BREAK ‘EM.

I’m fearless. Everyone tells me it’s a blessing.
It’s not. It’s a curse.

I’m the guy who goes undercover when the Bureau needs a job done.
To hunt down the monsters, I must become one.

And I deliver. Every. Single. Time.

Here’s the rub… I work for an organization that’s got rules. Lots and lots of rules.
Rules I won’t follow.

When that prevents me from landing my dream job, I’m gutted. But fate tosses me a lifeline, so I grab it. Only this new gig means I gotta control my rogue behavior. Worse yet, my new partner has zero interest in working with me. Zero.

Turns out, I got a way, way bigger problem. The second I set eyes on her, I knew.
She’s the one.
She’s stunning, smart, feisty… and a total badass.

Then, someone close to me is gunned down, and I’m ready to play by her rules.
We’re unstoppable, working long days to take a vicious killer off the streets.
And we’re insatiable, playing ‘til dawn at my club.

No matter how many obstacles are thrown at us, we’re hell-bent on rooting out evil. So when things go sideways and she’s staring down the barrel of a gun, it’s not just her life I’m fighting to save… it’s ours.
